Take Off Productions welcomes a new partner

Film director in charge of the production and post-production department, Javier Cabrera joins Matthieu Brulhart and Sylvain Meltz at the head of the Fribourg-based company. This association consolidates the new positioning of Take Off Productions as a 360°digital creative agency. It also responds to today’s changing needs in term of horizontal management, in a digital world which is constantly evolving.

Javier Cabrera graduated from the University of Córdoba (Argentina) in Filmmaking and worked in several agencies before moving to Spain and joining Take Off Productions Sàrl in 2019. Passionate about images, photography and music are the languages that he also likes to explore. His creativity and his expertise are highly valued by clients and colleagues. Javier always finds the way to add a “twist” to make a project unique.

It was in the logics of things for Matthieu Brulhart, founder and director, and Sylvain Meltz, partner since 2018, to invite Javier to join them.

Sylvain Meltz has been a member of the team for almost 10 years and has built up and manages the motion design department, which now has 4 people. Artist and geek, never short of references and endowed with a great sensitivity, Sylvain is both an excellent creative and a good pedagogue. The students at Ecal, where he teaches, can testify to this.

Trained in film director in Montreal, Matthieu Brulhart continues to be involved in the creation and production phases. As the CEO, he is taking on a more customer-focused role and general management of the company.

The formation of this trio gives concrete expression to a vision of the company's objectives, but also to the reality of the creative professions. By strengthening the art direction, the aim is to make better use of everyone’s know-how and pleasure, and to carry our “turnkey” campaigns, tailor-made projects that are ever more creative and audacious.

Growth as a repositioning tool

The big changes started already in 2021, when Take Off Productions went from ten to twenty employees. Often at the heart of creative concepts, the writing and production of films/videos require demanding technical skills. These steps very often raise strategic questions related to the creation of 360° digital campaigns. It was therefore only a matter of time before we created a digital department that integrates both broadcasting strategy and content creation skills as photo, web, graphic design and writing. This department joins the motion design and video production departments. We want to act as a real partner to our clients, providing them the creative boost and advise them.

What about the future? The objective is to consolidate achievements and collaboration with a partner network in 3 languages. A training company (one apprentice) with an average age of 31 years old, Take Off Productions has energy to spare. From multinationals to local cultural institutions, from federal departments to medium-sized companies, we work with a wide variety of clients throughout Switzerland.
